49th German Award for Jewellery and Precious Stones Idar-Oberstein 2018

„different faces“ 

A jewellery piece consisting of precious metal and gemstones was required. Pearls were only allowed in combination with gemstones. The use of synthetic gems was not admitted!

Necklace or bracelet made of red-, rose- and yellow gold, platinum, diamonds and a spiral necklace made of stainless steel

This magnificent and superbly handcrafted piece of jewellery, which can either be worn as a bracelet or as a necklace, is the best work of this year´s main competition according to the unanimous opinion of the jury.

An imaginative jewel, which reminds of armour scales of a reptile or an insect, and has been perfectly worked out down to the tiniest detail.
